Brief Overview of Program:
- Hushabye Nursery is a family centered model focused on supporting parents and their infants impacted by substance use.
- We provide a full range of behavioral health services to pregnant and parenting people with substance use disorders and inpatient services for infants born exposed to opioids.
- Our outpatient services include counseling, case management, peer mentoring, DCS support and evidence-based educational programming.
- We also provide specialized inpatient care for infants born exposed to opioids.
- This includes a low stimulation environment, 1:1 care, rooming in for parents, and behavioral health services on-site for families.
- Our goal is to ensure that every baby has a chance for a healthy start by supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and beyond.

- 76% of infants at Hushabye are safely discharged to their parents.
- Infants also have a shorter length of stay and require less medication to treat withdrawals than in a typical hospital setting.
- Our average length of stay is around 9 days and less than 1 in 10 infants at Hushabye require medication to treat their withdrawal symptoms.
